Vocabulary You Need to Know
When you open up the new language learning book that you just bought, you probably have noticed it is separated into chapters. Each chapter has its own theme and vocabulary list.
If you have read my other blogs, you have seen that I talk about how you should learn vocabulary that YOU need and want to learn. What does that mean?
You really need to brainstorm the topics that you talk the most about, what words are important in your life, and words you need to know. It is all up to you to decide what vocabulary you want to learn in your target language.
Here is an example:
Perhaps in Spanish you have learned that “zapato” means shoe or that “pie” means foot.
Are these words useful in your life?
Perhaps if you are a shoe salesman. Although, most people wear shoes that they put on their feet, so it is somewhat important for everyone to know, right?
Well, that is up to you to decide.
Make sure you are learning and using the vocabulary you need to know.
